Southern Cross Party Ltd is now in a position to take Membership Applications and call for expressions of interest from potential Candidates in every electorate, State and Federal.

I encourage all visitors to our website to read and study the Structure of the new Party, we prefer to call Southern Cross Party Ltd a new ‘Political Initiative’ as we are acutely aware that the ‘Party’ system we currently have is ‘self serving’ and ignores the wishes of the people in favour of party politics.

Under the present political system it is nearly impossible to contest Government unless you are in a ‘Political Party’ therefore we at Southern Cross Party Ltd developed a ‘structure’ that guarantees true democracy and still stays in the framework of a Political Party for the purpose of the exercise.

I am often asked what the Policies of Southern Cross Party Ltd are, my answer is that we are not that arrogant and bombastic that we will go to the people with predetermined policies that have no input from the Australian people, the members of Southern Cross Party Ltd are fair dinkum about bringing back democracy, we need to change the mindset of the Australian people to not have to choose between the best or worse of advertised Party Policy that is forgotten as soon as the election is over.

What Southern Cross Party Ltd is offering is the Pledge, the pledge is a precursor to policy and was developed to help people understand the issues Southern Cross Party Ltd will address when we win Government; the list is an indication of what we wish to see changed, fixed or introduced and will be added to as required by the people of Australia.

Policy will be put in place by the elected members of Southern Cross Party Ltd in the parliament not in the Party room, the choice is very clear you either vote for Party Politics under the ‘Two Party preferred system’ or vote for Democracy with Southern Cross Party Ltd.
At least you now have a choice.
